Mars at my fingertips

When Chris Parnell and Adam Samberg sang "Google Maps is the best - True dat - Double true!" they were absolutely correct.

Now you can view a map of the planet Mars and get driving directions from your city on Earth to the nearest Dairy Queen on Mars.
Brilliant. Those 4th-graders writing a report on Mars right now are totally PSYCHED!

I saw that. Cool, huh? Newsweek had a cover story on Google about a month ago. It really went in depth about the culture and practices. You would have loved it! For example, each employee is directed to manage their time by a 70/20/10 formula. 70% is to be spent on Google's core search and advertising work, 20% is to be spent on other existing things like Google News, and 10% is for creating something totally new! The best ideas are brought to fruition, hence Google Mars.
